Brooke Shalam is an Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore, specializing in restructuring since March 2024. Previous experience includes serving as a Summer 2022 Credit Analyst at Fortress Investment Group, a Summer Analyst at Brean Asset Management, and a Real Estate Broker at Slate Property Group. Additionally, Brooke held positions as a Vice President of Equity Fund and Equity Analyst with Goizueta Investment Management Group. Leadership roles include serving as the Director of Financial Operations for the Tri Delta sorority. Brooke's academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Emory University, complemented by study abroad at Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
Emory Impact Investing Group
Founded in 2014, Emory Impact Investing Group (EIIG) is Emory University's only undergraduate student-run impact investing organization. Our mission is to provide microloans to local entrepreneurs who lack access to capital. We aim to close the microbusiness gap in traditionally high poverty areas by increasing the number of successful small businesses. We direct our efforts in pursuit of this goal by providing early-stage financing, knowledge, and networks necessary for the sustainable growth of a business.
