Veenisha Patel

Veenisha Patel has extensive experience in the medical field, with a focus on medical dosimetry and radiation therapy. Veenisha started their career at the Medical University of South Carolina as a Radiation Therapist from June 1999 to June 2000. Veenisha then worked as a Locum Radiation Therapist at TeamStaff Rx from July 2000 to July 2001. Following that, they joined Radlogix as a Radiation Therapist from August 2001 to September 2003. Veenisha then transitioned into the role of a Medical Dosimetrist at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital from October 2003 to June 2007, where they utilized Eclipse software for planning and gained experience in CT Sim. Veenisha then joined Northside Hospital in June 2007 as a Medical Dosimetrist, where they specialized in Eclipse IMRT and 3D planning with ARIA. Veenisha also gained experience in SRS and SBRT, as well as Velocity for deformable fusions. Veenisha's most recent position is as a Proton Medical Dosimetrist at Emory Proton Therapy Center, which they started in July 2019.

Veenisha Patel attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy.
