Alaa Ahmed

Alaa Ahmed, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Research Specialist at Emory University since June 2022, following a role as a Field Application Scientist at Invitae from November 2021 to June 2022. Prior experience includes various positions at The University of Georgia from September 2014 to November 2021, encompassing roles as a Genomics Research Associate, Science Writer, and PhD Researcher, with a dissertation on the adaptive laboratory evolution of Acinetobacter baylyi.
