George H. Grant, PhD is an accomplished academic and healthcare leader currently serving as Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Emory Center for Psychedelics and Spirituality since July 2022, and as Executive Director of Spiritual Health at Emory Healthcare since January 2014, where a team of 55 addresses the spiritual and emotional needs of patients and staff. In addition to his role at Emory Healthcare, George has been an Assistant Professor at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing since January 2008 and has served as an Ordained Minister with the South Carolina United Methodist Church since May 1987. George holds extensive experience in bioethics and humanities through a previous position at the University of Washington School of Medicine and has held leadership roles at Emory University and the University of Washington in the field of spiritual care.
