Gretchen Butler

Gretchen Butler is an accomplished professional in the field of arts management with extensive experience in operational leadership and administration. Currently serving as the Director of Operations Management and Senior Associate Director of Advancement and Alumni Services at Emory University since February 2022, Gretchen previously held the position of Managing Director at Theatrical Outfit from September 2018 to February 2022. Additional roles include Director of Operations at The Serenbe Institute for Art, Culture and the Environment, Managing Director at Serenbe Playhouse, and Production Manager at Georgia Ensemble Theatre. Gretchen holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre/Theatre Arts Management from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from Randolph College.
