Hongyu Zhou is a highly experienced researcher in the field of medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry, currently serving as a Postdoctoral researcher at Emory University since April 2012, focusing on theranostic nanoparticles for cancer imaging and targeted treatment. Prior to this role, Hongyu Zhou worked as a Postdoctoral researcher from September 2009 to April 2012 at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where the focus was on the synthesis and anticancer evaluation of thiazolidinone libraries. Additionally, a Visiting Scholar position at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from June 2007 to May 2009 involved organic synthesis and the anticancer evaluation of small molecule libraries, as well as surface modifications of multiwalled carbon nanotubes. Hongyu Zhou obtained a Ph.D. in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Shandong University between 2004 and 2009.
