Jessica Glass is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory University since February 2024, where participation in community-based participatory action research interventions in Kansas City, MO, and Atlanta, GA involves collaboration with community partners to co-create research methodologies and actionable outcomes. Responsibilities include designing educational modules on ethnographic methods, developing qualitative research trainings, and leading workshops focused on antiracist pedagogical practices. Previously, as a Doctoral Fellow and Researcher/Instructor at Tulane University from August 2016 to May 2023, Jessica conducted interdisciplinary research in anthropology, public health, urban studies, and history, particularly on favela communities in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Earlier experience at Emory University as a Senior Research Interviewer and Data Analyst included conducting trauma-informed interviews and analyzing qualitative data on maternal health. Jessica holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology from Georgia State University and has secured competitive funding for research initiatives throughout her academic career.
