Lane Denicola

Lane DeNicola serves as the Director of Institutional Research at Emory University’s College of Arts & Sciences since August 2014, where responsibilities include architecting data infrastructure to assist College leadership in decision-making and strategic planning. Prior to this role, Lane DeNicola was a Permanent Lecturer and Program Coordinator at University College London from August 2009 to September 2012, focusing on developing a master's program in Digital Anthropology and teaching interdisciplinary courses. Additional experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Syracuse University from August 2007 to May 2009, where Lane DeNicola taught courses related to information technology, politics, and design, alongside an adjunct instructor role at Washington State University, teaching the historical and political aspects of digital media. Lane DeNicola holds an MS and PhD in Science & Technology Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Physics and Computer Science from the University of Oregon.
