Jean-Baptiste Roux has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. In 2009, they worked as a student intern at Leageay Sports and in 2010, they had another internship at Citroën Racing. From 2010 to 2011, Jean-Baptiste worked as a Dessinateur projeteur at IFE and ARO Welding Technologies respectively. In 2012, they joined PURE Corporation as a Dessinateur projeteur before moving on to Peugeot Sport as a Concepteur mécanique where they worked until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Jean-Baptiste worked at Renault Sport Racing as a Concepteur mécanique. In 2019, they joined Emotors as the housing component leader. In 2020, they became the PHEV mechanical leader and later became the Mechanical Design Manager in January 2022.

Jean-Baptiste Roux began their education in 2007 at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie du Mans - IUT Le Mans, where they completed a DUT in Génie Mécanique et Productique in 2009. Following this, from 2009 to 2010, they pursued a Licencé Pro degree in Conception et Fabrication Assistées par Ordinateur at the same institution. Finally, from 2017 to 2023, Roux attended the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, where they obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur with a specialization in Mécanique.
