Christy Hendricks

Christy Hendricks serves as the General Counsel & Chief Mission Legal Officer at Empath Health, overseeing legal matters related to hospice, home health, palliative care, and senior care since July 2022. Previously, Christy held the position of Chief Legal Counsel at OU Medicine, Inc., where the inaugural law department was established, and significant business transactions were advised upon from April 2018 to July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as System V.P. & Associate General Counsel at OhioHealth, where litigation and regulatory issues were managed from October 2012 to March 2018, and as Corporate Counsel at both Baptist Healthcare System and Vencor, Inc., focusing on legal advice and operational compliance. Christy earned a Juris Doctor from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Eastern Kentucky University.
