Matthew Chaloux

VP, Mission Care & Support Centers at Empath Health

Matthew Chaloux, BS, MBA, is the Vice President of Mission Care and Support Centers at Empath Health. He joined Empath Health in November 2021. Chaloux oversees all of Empath Health’s physical plant, overseeing facility maintenance, mechanical systems, property acquisitions, construction services, Life Safety compliance, facility master planning, and space allocations. He is a member of the organization’s Emergency Management Team. Before joining Empath, Chaloux enjoyed a 26-year career in higher education at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. He served as the Vice President of the Old Forge Center which served students with learning disabilities and most recently as the Director of Auxiliary Services in which he oversaw a wide range of operational areas including facility services, mechanical systems, grounds, facility construction, and emergency planning. His diverse background includes orchestrating various operations for the 2012 Presidential Debate hosted on the campus of Lynn University. Chaloux earned his MBA from Lynn University and a bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University. He also holds a variety of certificates in Emergency Management from FEMA and served as adjunct faculty with the College of Arts and Sciences at Lynn University teaching emergency management courses. Chaloux served on the New York Governors Council of Community Quality of Life and served on the Board of the Leather Industries of America.
