Marianna Xenophontos has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Marianna started their career at dunnhumby in 2010, initially working as a Communications Strategist and later as a Senior Planner. In these roles, they focused on developing and implementing customer communication strategies, mentoring the planning team, and collaborating with Account Directors.

In 2014, Marianna joined Havas Group as a CRM Data Planner at AIS London. Marianna worked on key projects for clients such as Waitrose, SKODA, and Canon, developing data-led business and marketing strategies, and planning CRM campaigns.

Next, Marianna joined Naked Communications Europe in 2016, where they served as a Senior Strategist on the Virgin Atlantic account. Marianna defined the role of channels in the overall communications mix, presented creative strategies, and briefed the creative team. Marianna also briefly held the position of Head of Strategy, where they were a member of the agency's management team and acted as a strategic lead for new business pitches.

From 2017 to 2018, Marianna worked at LIDA as a Strategy Director. Their responsibilities included strategic lead for key agency accounts, customer journey planning, and defining a customer-centric experience across touchpoints. Marianna also wrote briefs for various campaigns covering both online and offline channels.

Most recently, Marianna joined Empatica in 2018, initially serving as a Senior Marketing Manager and currently working as the Director of Marketing.

Marianna Xenophontos began their education in 1998 at the English School in Nicosia, where they focused on secondary education. After completing their secondary education in 2005, they attended the University of Cambridge for three years and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in English. Following their undergraduate studies, Marianna enrolled at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2008, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Management, which they completed in 2010. Most recently, in 2021, Marianna embarked on their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Quantic School of Business and Technology, which is expected to conclude in 2022.
