Steve Vorster

Steve Vorster is a seasoned professional in surveillance and corporate security with extensive experience in the gaming and hospitality industry. Currently serving as Group Chief Executive of Surveillance and Corporate Security at Emperors Palace Hotel Casino Convention and Entertainment Resort since 1997, Steve also held various executive roles within the Peermont Global portfolio, overseeing operations for multiple hotels and casinos. Prior to this, Steve was involved in surveillance management at Sun International and served as a District Sergeant with the South African Police Service, where foundational skills were developed. Steve's educational background includes degrees in Security Management from Cornell University and the Private Security Regulatory Authority, alongside a Security Management Diploma from Damelin. Steve currently operates as a freelancer in Cape Town, focusing on operational and security standards on a national basis.
