Zachary Dloomy, CPA

Zachary Dloomy, CPA, has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Zachary began their career at Mount Sinai Hospital as a Medical Researcher, where they performed student research focused on left ventricular torsion. Zachary then gained experience as a Residence Don at Western University Housing, demonstrating leadership and communication skills. Zachary then transitioned to a role as an Honours Thesis Student at London Health Sciences Centre, where they conducted a study on the migration and differentiation of stem cells in mouse brains. Following this, they worked as an Associate and later Senior Associate at PwC Canada, specializing in financial analysis. Zachary then joined Vela Software as a Senior Financial Analyst, further enhancing their analytical skills. Zachary then served as the Head of Finance at Emphasys Software, overseeing financial operations. Currently, Zachary is the Finance Manager at Aquila and will soon take on the role of Portfolio Corporate Controller, demonstrating their expertise in financial management and control.

Zachary Dloomy, CPA completed their Master's Degree in MMPA (Master of Management & Professional Accounting) from the University of Toronto, from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from Western University, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also hold the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), which they obtained in November 2020 from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
