Szymon Filipczak

Szymon Filipczak, PhD, currently serves as the Managing Director of Corporate Strategy & Development at Empik Group, a position held since April 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Strategy and Development at CCC Group from October 2018 to March 2024, where key responsibilities included the design and implementation of corporate strategy and overseeing capital transactions. Notably, Szymon led the design of the GO project. Prior to CCC Group, Szymon held various roles at PKO BP Securities from October 2012 to October 2018, including Investment Banking Vice President, where leadership of a team focused on executing and originating ECM and M&A transactions was essential. Szymon's career commenced with an internship in Equity Capital Markets at Citi in 2012, and earlier experience includes a position at INC SA from November 2009 to August 2012. Education includes a PhD in Finance and multiple degrees from Poznań University of Economics and Business.
