Gary Swart

Gary Swart has over 25 years of experience in sales and executive leadership roles. Gary is currently an advisor at EmpInfo, a position they have held since July 2014. Prior to that, they were the CEO of oDesk (now Upwork) from September 2005 to April 2014.

Swart began their career in 1995 as the Director of Corporate Sales for Pure Software. In 1997, they took on the same role at Pure Atria. Gary then joined Rational Software in 2001 as the Director of SMB Sales. In 2003, they moved to IBM as a Business Unit Executive, and in 2004 they joined Intellibank as VP Sales.

Swart has also been an advisor, mentor, and coach for several companies.

Gary Swart's educational career began with a BS in Business from the University of Maryland.
