Christina Bechhold Russ is an accomplished leader in venture capital and finance, currently serving as the Head of Truist Ventures at Truist since July 2021. Christina has extensive experience in corporate strategy and venture investments, previously holding titles such as Head of Ventures Outreach & Payments and Head of Strategic Investment Initiatives at Truist. As a Co-Founder and Founding Partner of Empire Angels, Christina has supported diverse, early-stage ventures. Additional contributions include roles as a Contributor for The Wall Street Journal and a GP Advisory Board Member at 1843 Capital. Prior experience encompasses key positions at Samsung Next, Ringly, and Citi, providing a strong foundation in technology investment and capital markets. Christina holds a B.S. and B.A. from Boston College and has studied at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
