Margie Wagner-Clews

Margie Wagner-Clews has a diverse work experience in the education industry. Margie worked as a Vice President of Education Administration at Empire Education Group from February 2017 to the present. Prior to that, they were a Consultant at Pioneer Education Group from December 2016 to February 2017. From January 2015 to December 2016, they held the position of Vice President of Education and Interim Campus President at Star Career Academy, where they implemented various admissions tools and standardized processes. Margie also worked as a Freelance-Consultant at Interplay Learning from September 2014 to March 2015, a Consultant at Pivot Point International from August 2014 to September 2014, and a Subject Matter Expert at Milady from July 2014 to August 2014. Margie's longest tenure was at Empire Education Group, where they held various roles from 2000 to 2014, including VP of Learning & Development, Curriculum & Methodology, and Educator Development. Margie contributed significantly to the company's growth and revenue, managed the training team to improve attendance, retention, and placement rates, and played a key role in developing innovative educational curricula and support systems. Margie's career in the education industry began at Empire Beauty Schools in 1978, where they worked as a Regional Manager, Director of Services, Campus Director, and Educator until 2000.

Margie Wagner-Clews completed their education at Penn State University from 1978 to 1984. During this time, they studied Business Administration and Management, with a focus on general business concepts. Following their studies at Penn State, Margie pursued a degree in Cosmetology, Barber/Styling, Skin Care and Nail Instruction at Empire Beauty School-State College in 1977.

In addition to their formal education, Margie obtained a Cosmetology Teacher's License from the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology in January 1979. This certification allowed their to teach cosmetology-related subjects to students. Margie also obtained a Vocational Certification from Penn State University in July 1978, further enhancing their skills and qualifications in the vocational field.
