Tim Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to 2020. Tim started at Oaktree Capital Management as a Portfolio Manager, leading an investment team and managing over $350 million in discretionary capital. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Sr. Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley, managing $300 million in capital with a focus on technology and telecommunications. Tim then joined Columbia Management as a Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, overseeing international fund strategies totaling over $5 billion.
In 2011, they became the CFO and COO at Rytec Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high-performance doors. Following this role, Tim served on the board of Southern Bridge Capital from 2005 to 2015. Tim was also a board member at PosiGen in 2015 and a board member and audit committee chairman at Aero Design Labs LLC starting in 2019.
Additionally, Tim has been involved in private equity firms, working as an Operating Executive since 2015. In this role, they evaluate operational and financial needs of potential acquisition targets and provides consulting and advisory services to c-suite management teams. Tim has also served as a board member of ANGEL EQUIPMENT LLC, where they led the acquisition of its assets and served as an interim President, overseeing the company's growth and operational improvements.
Most recently, in 2020, Tim became the President of Empire Cooler Service.
Tim Anderson attended Purdue University from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. From 1994 to 1996, they pursued further education at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, earning an MBA with a specialization in Finance, General.
