Anna Recasens

Anna Recasens has extensive experience in event production and management. Anna currently works as a Senior Director of Strategy & Operations at Empire Entertainment, where they supervise internal operations and handles executive communications. Prior to this role, Anna held positions such as Director of Operations and Executive Assistant to the CEO at the same company. Anna has also worked as a Global Events Manager at Fira Barcelona, overseeing the production of Smart City Expo events. Additionally, Anna has experience as a Senior Event Manager at Smart Cities New York, a Project Manager/Accounts & Events at Hudson Cutler & Co., an Executive Producer at Cinemaissí - Latin American Film Festival, and a Production Manager at Inland Film Company. Anna started their career as a Production Coordinator at Illume Oy and worked as a Content Producer at Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals. Anna's work experience also includes an Event Production Assistant role at Donostia-San Sebastián International Film Festival.

Anna Recasens has a diverse education history. Anna began their studies in 2006 at Universitat de Barcelona, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Art History and Cultural Management. Anna then attended Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Degree in Audiovisual Communication with a focus on Cinematography and Film/Video Production. In 2011 and 2012, they also attended Freie Universität Berlin to study Filmwissenschaft. In 2017, they attended NYU Stern School of Business, specifically taking a Project Management Spring Course.
