Alex Palaghita

Alex Palaghita has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alex is currently working as the Co-Founder and CTO at Empire Games since February 2021. Prior to this, they co-founded FanAxn and served as the CTO from March 2017 to May 2021.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Alex worked at j2 Global, starting in 2011. Alex initially worked as a Senior Software Engineer and later progressed to the role of Software Engineer Lead. At j2 Global, they focused on the Voice division, specifically developing and leading teams in the creation and maintenance of a new Voice platform for the European market. Their responsibilities included architectural design and development work on both the backend and frontend of the platform.

In 2009, Alex worked at Cyntelix as an R&D software engineer. During this time, they contributed to various projects, including the development of web collaboration and task management widgets. Alex also worked on a Storage and Deployment web service for widgets built with the FAST GVS tool and a Gallery for showcasing them.

In 2008, Alex gained research experience as a Research Assistant at DERI (Digital Enterprise Research Institute). Alex then transitioned to ADDIS SRL GERMANIA SUCURSALA CLUJ in 2007, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Here, they developed and maintained ERP and CRM systems for the company's industrial production line using C#, ASP.NET, AJAX programming, and SQL database management.

Alex began their career in 2005 as a Contract Programmer at NIWA Webhosting and later worked as a Desktop Publisher at XpressPrinting in 2006.

Alex Palaghita completed a BSC in Computer Science Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj Napoca from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended the "Emanuil Gojdu" National College in Oradea from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained their Baccalaureate degree in the Informatics Department. Alex has also obtained additional certifications in Sitefinity Training for Developers from Falafel Software in April 2013 and in Silverlight Development from Completit in October 2012.
