Rebecca Friedman

Rebecca Friedman is an experienced writer and multimedia producer currently employed at Empire Media Group, Inc. since December 2021, where responsibilities include crafting 6-7 articles daily on celebrity news and pop culture for OK! Magazine, while also meeting tight breaking news deadlines. Previous experience includes roles as E-Commerce Editor at OK! Magazine, contributing to multiple publications, and serving as a Page Designer and Copyeditor for The Daily Campus, where skills in Adobe InDesign and proofreading were developed. Additional experience includes contributing to Their Campus UConn, a seasonal position at Yogi Berra Stadium, and engagement in fundraising and event promotion for HuskyTHON. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from the University of Connecticut.
