James Carboni

James Carboni has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. James currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Empire Precision Plastics since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at forteq Group as the Director - Operations Finance from 2017 to 2022. In this role, they were responsible for operations finance, financial planning & analysis, and engineering project financial reporting across five global manufacturing sites.

Before joining forteq Group, James was the Finance Manager at forteq North America Inc. from 2010 to 2017 where they played a pivotal role in leading the financial turnaround of the North American operations and managing overall net working capital. James has also gained experience as a Controller at GPT from 2000 to 2010, a Financial Analyst at Harris Corporation from 1999 to 2000, and as a Controller/General Manager at Innotek/DexM Company from 1993 to 1999.

Their career began at General Motors as a Financial Analyst from 1989 to 1993. Throughout their various roles, James has demonstrated strong financial management skills, strategic leadership, and a track record of driving profitability and process improvement.

James Carboni earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Corporate Accounting from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
