Terry Gornet

Terry Gornet is a seasoned human resources leader with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at Empire Today since July 2025, Terry leads a dynamic HR organization. Prior roles include Head of Talent Management at Transamerica, where responsibilities encompassed Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Diversity and Inclusion, and SVP, Chief Talent Officer at TIAA, focusing on global talent management and integration during major acquisitions. Terry also held senior HR positions at American Tire Distributors, Bank of America, and The Home Depot, demonstrating expertise in leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Terry holds a PhD, ABD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Psychology, respectively.
