Mehmet Ekmekçi

Mehmet Ekmekçi has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the Director of Product Engineering at Emplifi since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Agile Team Manager at Emplifi from February 2020 to April 2022. Before joining Emplifi, Mehmet worked as a Game Designer at Bohemia Interactive Simulations from November 2018 to February 2020. Mehmet also gained experience as a Validation Engineer at Valeo from March 2017 to October 2018. Earlier in their career, Mehmet worked as an Engineering Intern at DMA Derindere Motorlu Araçlar in April 2013 and as an Engineering Intern at TEMSA in June 2012.

Mehmet Ekmekçi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi in 2013. Mehmet then pursued a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician at Czech Technical University in Prague from 2014 to 2016. In 2014, they also received a Certificate in German Language and Literature from DID Deutsch Institut in Frankfurt Am Main. Prior to their university education, Mehmet earned a Certificate of Merit/High School Diploma from Parkersburg South High School of West Virginia in 2008 and a High School Diploma in Science from Ö.Ç. Bilfen Okullari in 2007. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in 2023, Creative Writing Specialization from Wesleyan University in 2022, Game Design: Art and Concepts Specialization from California Institute of the Arts in 2022, Professional Scrum Master™ II (PSM II) from Scrum.org in 2021, and Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in 2019.
