John Ceelen

John Ceelen serves as Chief Financial Officer at Emplify Health since March 2024. Previously, John held the position of Chief Financial Officer for the Western Division at Banner Health from January 2022 to March 2024, overseeing the financial performance and operational execution for 15 hospitals across six states. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Finance at Froedtert Health from January 2016 to December 2021, where John was a strategic partner on financial matters and responsible for financial planning and oversight. John began a lengthy career at Ascension, holding various roles from January 1991 to December 2016, including System Vice President of Strategy and Business Development and Senior Corporate Director of Finance/Corporate Controller, focusing on strategic initiatives and financial strategies. John is educated in Business Administration with a focus on Financial Analysis and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and also holds degrees in Accounting, Finance, Economics, and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
