Richard (Rick) A. Kurland

Rick A. Kurland has been working in the professional background screening industry since 1994. Richard (Rick) A. is currently the Co-Founder of the EBI Just One World Foundation Inc, a role they began in 2019. Theirrole involves partnering with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the Walter and Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, and Hope for Henry to bring mental and physical joy and healing to children fighting serious illness.

From 1994 to 2003, they were the President & CEO of Employment Background Investigations, Inc (EBI). In this role, they specialized in the development and implementation of employment, contractor and volunteer screening programs.

In 2003, they became a Founding Member of the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA). Richard (Rick) A. has been an active member and supporter of PBSA, participating on committees, giving conference presentations, and providing industry communications to clients.
