Ian Bentham is an experienced sales leader with a proven track record in driving growth and optimizing sales strategies across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Manager of Sales Development at Employment Hero since April 2025, Ian leads a high-performing team of 12 SDRs to enhance pipeline generation and accelerate top-of-funnel growth. Previously, as the APAC Team Lead for Merchant Success at Shopify, Ian managed a team of 5 Account Executives and a significant portfolio of over 3000 merchants. Ian’s extensive background at eBay included roles as Sales Lead and Account Executive, where significant contributions to enterprise growth and merchant acquisition were made, particularly by building and leading eBay Australia's first dedicated SMB acquisition team. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Liverpool John Moores University and has foundational education in Business Administration from Halewood Comprehensive.
