Kent Hammond

Kent Hammond is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in strategic finance, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Head of Strategic Finance at Employment Hero, Kent previously held the same title at Xero, where responsibilities included performance benchmarking and capital allocation. Kent's career includes significant roles at Clare Capital Limited, focusing on corporate finance advisory for high-growth SaaS companies, and positions at TelerealTrillium, Woodward Partners, the Ministry of Economic Development, and Statistics New Zealand. Kent holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Finance from the London School of Business and Finance, along with two Master’s degrees in Environmental Science from the University of Otago.
