Erin Courtenay

Erin Courtenay is an accomplished communications and design professional with extensive experience in various roles within organizations focused on outreach and branding. Currently serving as a Design Team Member at Employment Resources, Inc. since March 2023, Erin has previously held significant positions at Earthling Interactive, including Communications Advisor and Vice President of Digital Services, where leadership in customer experience and subject matter expertise initiatives was demonstrated. Other notable roles include Communications Director at River Alliance of Wisconsin, overseeing diverse marketing and outreach programs, and Membership and Communications Coordinator at REAP Food Group. Erin’s earlier career includes roles at Aveda, TreeHugger.com, and the Biodiversity Project, contributing a strong foundation in writing, editing, and strategic communications. Erin holds an MS in Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS/BA in Biology and Anthropology from New Mexico State University.
