Eric Winger is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 18 years of experience in the industry. Eric began their career in 2003 as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Innovative Robotics, Inc., where they designed, developed, tested, and prepared a dual-wrist end effector product for production. In 2006, they joined Crossing Automation as a Mechanical Engineer and designed, built, and tested a vacuum wafer handling system. Eric then moved to Restoration Robotics in 2009 as a Mechanical Engineer, where they played a key role in the first-time delivery of the Artas Robotic system to end-user customers. In 2013, they joined Grabit Inc. as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer, providing technical and project leadership to a team of 10 embedded systems, mechanical, and materials engineers. Finally, they joined Orica in 2017 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they project managed the North American introduction of Orica's proprietary heavy surface mining control system and Next Generation Bulk product, and designed and built the first automation piece of equipment to assemble a secure and safe assembly of a wireless remote primer. Eric is currently employed at Emporia since 2022.

Eric Winger obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University between 1997 and 2002. Eric also obtained a certification in Managing Meetings from LinkedIn in February 2019.
