Janis Witchey

Janis Witchey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Janis began their career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Sergeant and gaining valuable leadership skills. After their military service, they transitioned to the financial industry, working at various credit unions in roles such as Loan Officer, Branch Coordinator, and Loss Mitigation Specialist. Janis later joined Empower Federal Credit Union as a Branch Manager, where they had responsibility for all aspects of branch operations. Janis then progressed to the role of Regional Director of Operations at the same organization. Most recently, Janis Witchey has taken on the position of Vice President of Retail Services at Empower Federal Credit Union. In addition to their professional endeavors, they have also been involved in community service as a committee member for the Elmira Downtown Development's Street Painting Festival. Overall, Janis Witchey's well-rounded work experience showcases their discipline, leadership, and proficiency in the financial industry.

Janis Witchey obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Campbell University, which was attended from 2001 to 2003. Janis then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
