James Baumer

James Baumer is a development and external relations professional with a strong background in public policy implementation and advocacy organizations. They served as a Development Associate at Enroll America from 2013 to 2015, where they worked on expanding the organization's funding base and managing donor communications. Prior to that, James was a 2012 Corps Member with Teach For America, facilitating math courses at Hospitality High School in Washington, DC. Currently, they are the Director of Development at Empower Project and have previously held positions as a Regional Development Director at Giffords and a Corporate Paralegal at Cooley LLP. James earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Arizona State University in 2012.
