Neal Foster

Neal Foster is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Lead Analyst for Investment Reporting at Empower since July 2023, focusing on quarterly and annual investment reporting related to statutory insurance requirements. Previously, Neal worked for the South Carolina Department of Insurance for over 13 years, where roles included Examinations Manager and Financial Examiner, responsible for overseeing statutory financial examinations and applying risk-focused frameworks. Prior experience includes a role as Accounting Supervisor at Bose Corporation, where Neal managed financial reporting and played a key role in a SAP systems implementation, as well as working as a General Accountant at Coretec Inc. Neil holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Toronto, Certified Financial Examiner credentials, CPA qualification, and is pursuing an MBA from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee.
