Janine Pires

Janine Pires is a seasoned finance and operations professional with extensive experience, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Finance and Operations at Empower Schools since February 2018. Janine's role includes overseeing accounting functions, managing the operating budget, leading annual audits, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulations. Prior to this, Janine worked at Boston Plan for Excellence, where responsibilities included financial reporting and grant management, and held positions at Catholic Charities and The Salvation Army. Janine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Logistics and Operations Management from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance Management from Northeastern University, along with an Associate of Arts from Bunker Hill Community College.
