Erika Phipps

Erika Phipps, MBA, MJ-LEL, has extensive experience in employee relations and human resources, currently serving as a Member of empowER: The Employee Relations Community since July 2021. Previously, Phipps held the position of Director, Employee Relations Lead at GroupM from July 2021 to May 2024, and served as an Employee Relations Partner at Centene Corporation between December 2019 and July 2021. Prior roles include various positions at AIG from 2008 to 2018, where Phipps developed HR procedures, managed performance management matters, and oversaw the Chief Human Resources Officer's office. Phipps's career extends back to roles at Bowne, Morgan Stanley, and TIAA-CREF, bringing a strong foundation in HR management, recruitment, and investment analysis. Educational credentials include a Masters of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University Law School, a B.S. in Business Management from Oakwood University, and an MBA in Human Resources from Walden University.
