Rainer Schoellhammer

Rainer Schoellhammer currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors and CFO at AXA XL, a position held since February 2019, after fulfilling the role of Deputy CFO. Prior experience includes key financial leadership positions at AXA from 2015 to 2019, where Rainer was the Head of Planning, Budgeting, Results, and Controlling, and at AXA Corporate Solutions as CFO from 2012 to 2015. Rainer's earlier roles include significant positions at AXA in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region, Deutsche Ärzteversicherung AG, and DBV-Winterthur Versicherungen. Rainer began a career as a Strategy Consultant at Bain & Company and later as an Associate in M&A at Lazard. Rainer holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration from the University of St.Gallen.
