Shanika Macer

Shanika Macer has a diverse work experience in various roles. Shanika worked at Empowering Minds Resource Center as a Senior Care Coordinator, where they ensured the safety of children and families and provided supervision to foster/kinship families. Shanika also worked as a Direct Support Care Coordinator, where they managed care analysis for clients in a rehabilitative program and provided exceptional customer service. Additionally, they worked as a Client Services Account Coordinator, where they maintained knowledge of coding principles, analyzed patient records, and sought clarification from physicians. Prior to that, they worked at Gallagher Services as a Site Manager, where they developed strategies, directed operations, and managed profit and loss.

Shanika Macer completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business from the University of the People. Afterward, they pursued a Nursing Assistant program at the Ghandi Institute. Currently, they are enrolled at Walden University, where they are expected to graduate in 2024 with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, specializing in Social Work.
