Jessie L.

Jessie L. serves as the Head Program Manager for the Startup Internship Program at Empowerly, where responsibilities include program development and the establishment of partnerships with startups, facilitating the placement of over 1,000 high school interns annually. Prior experiences encompass roles such as Program Associate at The Nanchang Project, Volunteer Grant Writer for NC Asian Americans Together, and Youth Engagement Director, where Jessie orchestrated youth programming initiatives and established performance metrics. Previous positions also include College Access Adviser at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, English Teacher at Escuelas Católicas and Forenex, and Direct Support Professional at The Arc of the Triangle, Inc.
