Jody Mitchell

Jody Mitchell has worked as the Chief Medical Officer at EmpowerMe Wellness since April 2022. Prior to that, Jody held roles at Owensboro Health, including Medical Director from August 2018 to April 2022 and Medical Doctor from August 2016 to April 2022.

Jody Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Transylvania University in 2006. In 2011, they completed their Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Jody then pursued a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Western Kentucky University, which they are expected to complete in 2024. Additionally, Jody obtained the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Family Practice: Sports Medicine in December 2016 and the Board of Certification in Family Medicine in December 2015 from the American Board of Family Medicine.
