Miguel Hernández

Miguel Hernandez is a Research Associate 1 at Cognito Therapeutics, Inc., since September 2023, following a tenure as a Translational Research Intern. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the Florida Institute of Technology, where Miguel contributed to the Advanced Neuroscience and NeuroTechnology lab, focusing on signal processing of real-world Electroencephalography (EEG) data, as well as in the Vascular Tissue Engineering Lab, developing channeled hydrogel models. Miguel also completed an undergraduate research assistantship at the University of South Carolina, exploring the effects of gold nanoparticle diameter on Alzheimer's Disease through computational modeling. Earlier roles include Facility Attendant at the Clement Center and various sales positions with CUTCO Cutlery and Vector Marketing. Miguel holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, graduated in May 2023.
