Dustin Ogburn

Dustin Ogburn has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dustin currently works as a Scrum Master at Emprise Corporation since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Anthem, Inc. from 2018 to 2021, where they held the positions of Scrum Master and Release Manager in the Government Business Division.

Before joining Anthem, Inc., Dustin worked at TEKsystems in 2017 as a Scrummaster for the Encounters Operations and Encounters Data Warehouse Operations teams at Anthem. Dustin implemented Agile framework and ceremonies, oversaw training, and ensured first-level responders for data warehouse and encounter level issues were responsible for immediate resolution.

In 2017, Dustin worked as a private contract tutor in mathematics. From 2012 to 2017, they served as a Mathematics Teacher at SIUE TRIO Upward Bound. Dustin also held various leadership positions at Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc. as Alumni Chair, Scholarship Chair, and Chaplain from 2014 to 2017.

Dustin's experience also includes being the Treasurer of the Black Student Union at VWC from 2016 to 2017, where they managed finances for multiple events. Additionally, they worked as a Rock Wall Employee at Virginia Wesleyan College from 2015 to 2017, where they engaged participants in rock-wall activities, managed equipment, and supervised employees.

Dustin Ogburn attended Virginia Wesleyan University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. In October 2021, Dustin obtained certifications as a Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc.
