Joseph Muchulsky Jr. has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Joseph started their career as an Engine Cadet at the Military Sealift Command in 2017. Joseph then gained further experience as a Student Assistant and Engineering Tutor at SUNY Maritime College from 2016 to 2019. Following that, Joseph worked as a Marine Engineer at Emprise Corporation from 2019 to 2021. Joseph then joined Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) as a Marine Engineer for a short period from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Joseph holds the position of Afloat Support Manager at Emprise Corporation, starting in May 2023.

Joseph Muchulsky Jr. completed their Advanced Studies Diploma at First Colonial High School from 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2019, they attended the State University of New York Maritime College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Marine Engineering. In addition to their academic achievements, Joseph obtained several certifications. In May 2017, they became an EPA Section 608 Universal Technician certified by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In May 2019, they achieved the certification of Third Assistant Engineer Unlimited HP from the U.S. Coast Guard. Joseph also holds certifications such as Applied Failure Analysis 1 from Caterpillar Inc., Train-the-Trainer from Wilmington University, Confined Space Entry Training and Maritime OSHA 10-Hour Shipyard Employment from Metropolitan Solutions, Commercial Marine Engineering Officer (CMEO) - Senior Engineer from the Military Sealift Command, and Certified Vibration Analyst - Category II from Technical Associates of Charlotte.
