Sanford Goldberg, M.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Sanford currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer of EmPRO Insurance since January 2015. Additionally, they are the President of SRG Consulting since January 2015. Prior to these positions, Dr. Goldberg worked at Physicians' Reciprocal Insurers for a substantial period from 1991 to March 2022. During this time, they held the role of Medical Director responsible for claims and medical evaluation, doctor outreach programs, and education programs. Sanford also served as a Member of the Board of Governors. Before joining Physicians' Reciprocal Insurers, Dr. Goldberg worked as a Gastroenterologist at Queens-Nassau Gastroenterology Associates, PC from July 1986 to January 2015.
Sanford Goldberg, M.D. obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where they attended from 1975 to 1978. In 1979, they also obtained the NYS Medical License from the University State of New York Education Department.
