Alun Williams

Alun Williams is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in IT management and strategy. Since April 2017, Alun has served as Technical Director at Empyrean Digital while also holding the position of CEO at Nexus Entertainment Services since March 2004. Previously, Alun was Head of Technology (CTS) at the Government Digital Service, where responsibilities included technology strategy and implementation under the Common Technology Services Programme. Alun's extensive experience includes roles such as Head of Application and Infrastructure Services at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, Technical Architect at the Government Digital Service, and Interim CTO at WILD WIKI LIMITED. Alun has also held several leadership positions in technology development and product design across various organizations, starting a new mobile application development capability at Tinopolis Interactive and serving as CTO at multiple companies. Alun earned a BSc(Hons) in Information Technology from the University of South Wales from 1992 to 1996.
