Michael Kogelschatz

Michael Kogelschatz has a diverse work experience in the nuclear power industry. Michael began their career as a Reactor Operator in the US Navy from 1975 to 1981. Michael then worked as an SRO - Unit Supervisor at Florida Power and Light from 1986 to 1996. Following that, they served as a Shift Manager at the Beaver Valley Nuclear Plant from 1996 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Empyrean Services as an Operations Consultant, where they worked on a recovery and restart project for Ft Calhoun. In 2014, they started their own consulting company, MGK Consulting, where they continue to provide services to the nuclear power industry. Michael also worked as a Consultant at Merrick Group in 2014. In 2016, they briefly worked as an Operations crew performance consultant at BHI Energy. Throughout their career, Michael has gained extensive experience in various roles within the nuclear power industry, including consulting, operations management, supervision, and training.
