Igor Kalkov-Streitz is the Founder and Managing Director at Emteria. Igor was previously a Visiting Research Scientist at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition, where they were part of the team that won the DARPA Robotics Challenge 2nd place, earning $1,000,000 in June 2015. Igor has also worked as a Research Associate at RWTH Aachen University, Informatik 11 - Embedded Systems, where they lectured on "Introduction to Computer Engineering" and organised and executed the examination. Igor has also worked as a Vocational Trainer in Mathematical-Technical Software Development (MATSE) at RWTH Aachen University.

Igor Kalkov-Streitz has a Master of Science in Informatik from RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor of Science in Informatik from RWTH Aachen University. Igor also has a certification from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level, SimulTrain - Project Management Simulation Training, and Scrum Compact - Basics of Project Management with Scrum.
