Sebnem Hoskara

Sebnem Hoskara is a distinguished academic and planner currently serving as a Scientific Committee Member for ISOCARP since 2023 and a Professor at EMU where responsibilities include directing the Urban Research and Development Center. Hoskara holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at City Space Architecture and serves as the co-chair of the Senior Advisory Board on Public Space for the 2022-2025 term. Previously, Hoskara was a Visiting Professor and Interim Program Coordinator at The University of Texas at San Antonio from September 2018 to June 2019, and worked as Vice General Secretary for Tarih Vakfı from 1998 to 2000. Educational credentials include a PhD in Urban Design from the University of Nottingham (1994) and a Bachelor of Architecture from Istanbul Technical University (1990), alongside a high school diploma from TED Ankara Koleji (1986).
