Taimur Zahid

Taimur Zahid has a diverse work history, starting with an internship at the Higher Education Commission in 2014. In 2015, they completed another internship at the National Telecommunication Corporation. From 2017 to the present, Taimur worked at the Pakistan Air Force, initially as a Network Administrator, which later transitioned into a DevSecOps role. During their time there, they gained experience in various areas, including AWS solutions architecture, Git and branching strategies, Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines, cybersecurity, secure coding practices, LAMP stack development, Python socket programming, LAN and WAN environments, virtual environments with VMware and Docker, container orchestration with docker and Kubernetes, Bash/shell scripting, Ansible and OPmanager NCM for configuration management, Infrastructure as Code tools, multi-platform experience (mac, Windows, Linux), continuous monitoring tools deployment, configuration and support of network protocols and security solutions, and programming languages such as C++, Python, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. In 2023, Taimur joined Emumba as a DevOps Engineer.

Taimur Zahid completed their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Bahria University, which they attended from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2023.
