Christian Wight, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Regulatory Affairs at EMVision Medical Devices, where responsibilities include leading and executing regulatory strategies for product registrations in the US, Europe, and Australia. Prior to this role, Christian was the Regulatory Affairs Manager at Corin Australia Pty Ltd, overseeing submission strategies and compliance for implantable devices. Christian’s experience also includes serving as a Reviewer for BioMed Research International and holding positions at Signature Orthopaedics, where as Head of Development & Regulatory, played a key role in the market approval of implantable devices. Christian began their career as a Student Engineer at Halifax Biomedical Inc., contributing to cost reductions and design modifications for surgical tools. Christian earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Orthopaedics from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University.
